ABOUT

The Interface Video Art Festival will take place on April 1st and 2nd, 2026, at Art-kino Croatia in Rijeka.

The festival presents a curated program of bold and experimental audiovisual works, bringing together filmmakers and video artists who challenge and expand the language of moving images.
Over two days of screenings, audiences will encounter a diverse and thought-provoking selection that pushes boundaries, broadens perception, and imagines new aesthetic futures. Featuring works from around the world, the festival highlights practices that question convention and explore the evolving possibilities of audiovisual art.
This is the sixth edition of the festival, which has been developing since 2020, initially launched as an online event. This year marks the first edition that fully transitions from a hybrid format to a live event, with all films screened in person.
This independent event, dedicated to new media and video art, is organized by the Greta Creative Network.
Interface Video art Festival was developed as additional part of Hartera Music Festival. Since 2014 it runs as an independent event devoted to new media and video art forms. It provides an opportunity for emerging artists to create, thrive and present their innovative work.
